Sermon Title: Turn Back Date: March 2, 2026 Sermon Series: Rebuilt Passage: Haggai 2:10-23 Speaker: Ronnie Cannon Have you ever felt like you had to work your way into heaven? That your good behavior and religious deeds were what made you acceptable to God? In Haggai 2, God confronts His people with a sobering truth. Even though they were actively rebuilding the temple, their hearts were still distant from Him. Their disobedience affected everything they touched. The problem wasn’t their lack of activity; it was the condition of their hearts. And the same is true for us today. Through this story, God makes it clear that outward behavior and religious activity cannot clean a compromised heart. But even in His correction, His mercy shines through. He lovingly calls His people, then and now, to Turn Back, realign their hearts with His, and rebuild with renewed devotion.
Sermon Title: Overcoming Discouragement Sermon Series: Seek First Passage: Haggai 2:1-9 Speaker: Adam Muhtaseb Date: February 22, 2026 Have you ever been really discouraged…? Not mildly annoyed. Not just having a bad day. But the kind of discouraged where you start wondering if you can actually keep going… In Haggai 2, God exposes what discouragement feeds on, and then He answers it with promises strong enough to keep his people going. Join us to learn how the lessons in Haggai still apply to our lives today.
Sermon Title: What’s in the First Position? Sermon Series: Seek First Passage: Haggai 1 Speaker: Sam Cassese Date: February 15, 2026 Some decisions seem small at first—until you realize what they reveal about your heart. What sits at the center of your attention, your affection, your ambition? As we begin our study in Haggai, God confronts a people who rebuilt their lives but forgot to rebuild what mattered most. The Spirit is still asking the same question: What’s in the First Position? Join us as we open Haggai together and let the Lord search our hearts—because what holds first position shapes everything else.
Sermon Title: Two Steps Forward… Passage: Ezra 4:1-24 Sermon Series: Rebuilt Speaker: Sam Cassese What do you do when obedience doesn’t lead to momentum - but to opposition? When rebuilding your life, your faith, or your calling feels less like progress and more like resistance, doubt, and delay? In Ezra 4, God’s people discover that restoration isn’t smooth sailing - and that faith often feels like two steps forward and one step back. Join us as we wrestle with what it means to stand firm, refuse compromise, and keep going when fear threatens to stop the work altogether.
Let’s Start at the Very Beginning Sermon Series: Rebuilt Passage: Ezra 3:1-13 Date: February 1, 2026 Speaker: Sam Cassese Where would God start if He wanted to do something new in your life – with your circumstances, your habits, or your heart? When God brings His people home in Ezra 3, the rebuilding begins, but not where we might expect. As they gather and rebuild, it raises a bigger question for all of us: is a new beginning about what God restores around us...or what He renews within us? Join us to learn how God is creating new hearts and new beginnings.
Sermon: Flip That House Series: Rebuilt Passage: Ezra 1:2-2:70 Speaker: Sam Cassese In the Bible, God reveals Himself as One who rebuilds what’s been burned, broken, and abandoned. In Ezra 1–2, a ruined city, a destroyed temple, and a scattered people all raise the same question: Can what was lost really be restored? As God calls His people back, He doesn’t just rebuild a building – He erases their shame, challenges their comfort, and confronts the cost of following Him again. What if the very places you assume are beyond repair are exactly where God wants to start building?
Sermon Title: You Are Here Sermon Series: Rebuilt Date: 1/11/2026 Speaker: Sam Cassese I In this sermon, we open to the book of Ezra and step into a moment of profound grace: the God who moves the nations moves toward us. Even in exile, even under the rule of kings, God’s providence is at work, drawing His people back. Through the unexpected kindness of King Cyrus, God calls His people to return, rebuild, and recommit their hearts. Wherever you are today—far from faith, rebuilding, or faithfully walking—God is moving toward you with grace. Come and see what it means to be drawn back into His story and experience His renewing power.
Title: The Weight of Worry Passage: Matthew 6:25-34 Speaker: Sam Cassese The most wonderful time of the year is often followed by the most anxious time of the year. Life can feel heavy as the demands of today and the fears of tomorrow press in. As our responsibilities pile up, the weight of provision, planning, and pressure can quietly turn into the Weight of Worry. In Matthew 6:25–34, Jesus speaks directly to our anxiety—not by dismissing our needs, but by reframing reality. What if the way forward isn’t carrying more, but trusting more? What if anxiety isn’t just about what we’re facing—but about what we’re forgetting? Join us this Sunday as we explore what it could look like to begin a new year with reordered priorities and a lighter soul.
