Hamasa Agah

In this episode of Echoes of Hope, we hear the inspiring story of Hamasa Agah — a former Banoo student who has now returned as a teacher, helping other Afghan girls continue their journey of learning.

Hamasa shares her educational journey, from her life as a student before the arrival of the Taliban to the challenges that changed her path afterward. Despite the obstacles, she continued learning, found her voice through poetry, and eventually became a teacher herself.

This is a story about education, resilience, transformation, and the power of giving back. A story of a girl who kept learning — and is now helping others do the same.
