I attempt to break down the two recent trades the Dragons have made. Toshiki Abe being sent to the Eagles for veteran starter Hideaki Wakui and 2017 Rookie of the Year Yota Kyoda being sent to the Baystars for southpaw Yoshiki Sunagawa.
I go over 12 amateur talents likely to be selected in the top two rounds of the draft and some of the teams that are interested. In the second half, I carry out an analysis on the existing Dragons roster and try to pinpoint areas of need before drawing up a 6 player draft shortlist.
