American Horror Story 13 is Scary

Spoilers for the first three episodes of American Horror Story Season 13 start at 11:29. Colton has not slept since. Proceed accordingly. Colton watched the first three episodes of American Horror Story Season 13 the night they dropped. He came in with no sleep and a lot of opinions. He breaks down how the number 13 went from his favorite to his enemy (15:46), walks through the pentagram Christmas tree and the Black Dahlia's return (32:19), and lays out his Coven-vs-the-devil theory (47:51). Cory traces the curse of 13 from the Last Supper to Loki (54:18). The two rank the best first episodes (56:34), their top three scary movies (1:00:38), and the movies that scarred them as kids (1:08:58). Cory says he can take Chucky (1:22:28). Then the James Bond fight (1:53:33) and a katana-vs-sword argument that ends the episode (2:05:04). Question of the Week: What horror franchise terrified you as a kid? Bleach Episode 48 Was Rushed and We Don't Care | Do Not Listen Show

You were warned: two hours of Bleach cope, Kojima receipts, and gym-chocolate science, then the part we actually mean. Episode 14 opens with the Demon Slayer fans who wanted Colton dead over a robot-apocalypse pick (1:35). Then Cory's new cut and the app that "serves" Colton the bottom of the barrel (3:23). Bleach TYBW episode 48 gets the full treatment. Colton says it was rushed but earns its hopelessness, Kubo really does hate Chad, and the scores land at 8.5 and 7.5 (10:52, 28:59). Cory says every new anime is a knockoff (30:58) and picks the anime worlds a regular person would never survive (32:32). American Horror Story goes to 30-minute episodes (34:00), and Colton asks when we stop making serial killers hot (37:08). Kojima says he and Sony are fine (42:32), Final Fantasy 7 adds auto-leveling (47:11), and Microsoft patents ads on your pause screen (50:14). Fallout, Kingdom Hearts, BioShock and Silent Hill 2 raised them (53:05). Smelling chocolate is worth 18 extra reps (1:04:41), then the Acme movie and Sydney Sweeney's bathwater soap (1:08:00). Bungie brings Destiny back (1:14:12), Colton lines up his October horror reads (1:19:10), and the ocean wins scariest (1:23:51). Cory closes on Suicide Prevention Awareness Month and the friend he lost, and Colton adds his side (1:29:01). 0:00 Almost at episode 20 1:35 The Demon Slayer fans wanted Colton dead 3:23 Cory's new cut and the bottom of the barrel 7:29 Aizen is still the goat 10:52 Bleach episode 48: rushed or perfect? 17:45 Kubo really does hate Chad 26:57 The most hopeless moments in anime 28:59 Bleach 48 scores and the final dates 30:58 Every new anime is a knockoff 32:32 Anime worlds you wouldn't survive 34:00 American Horror Story goes 30 minutes 37:08 Stop making serial killers hot 42:32 Kojima says he and Sony are fine 47:11 Final Fantasy 7 adds auto-leveling 50:14 Microsoft patents pause-screen ads 53:05 The game franchise that raised you 59:46 Pixel games and the handheld PC 1:04:41 Sniffing chocolate for 18 extra reps 1:08:00 The Acme movie and Sydney Sweeney's bathwater 1:14:12 Bungie brings Destiny back 1:17:10 Franchises that ruined their fans 1:19:10 Neuromancer and the October book lineup 1:23:51 Ocean or space: the verdict 1:27:01 Sub Urban's new EP 1:29:01 Suicide Prevention Awareness Month 1:48:02 Question of the Week 1:48:38 Spooky season Question of the Week: How do you want to be remembered? AHS Is Ending, Aliens Are Real, the Ocean Is Worse | Do Not Listen Show

Thirteen episodes in, the only anime character either of us can beat is Usopp. Listen at your own risk. Cory opens on zombies versus robots and picks robots because he refuses to die anywhere without electricity (0:54). Episode 13 shouts out the Audible listeners (2:22), Colton passes his last exam (3:45), and Cory's son goes full Ghostface and refuses to bathe in character (4:21). Colton explains that every dating app is an algebraic equation built to keep you paying (7:25), Cory pitches Deltora Quest and the two of them go after AI slop (12:06), and Cory runs down the final season of American Horror Story while Colton's only fear is that it's fan-service slop (16:10). Cory argues aliens are real and lays out the zoo theory and the Great Filter; Colton doesn't care about space and doesn't want to know what's in the ocean either (28:42). The Cat in the Hat creepypasta, the 3 a.m. ice cream trucks, and the night Cory drove around Bossier during the Purge (40:02). Which zombie apocalypse actually kills you (48:46), Sony drops Kojima and the Xbox lady swoops in (53:47), the basement dwellers get addressed (1:00:42), and the underrated anime list runs from Bungo Stray Dogs to Shield Hero (1:02:33). Which anime character would you fight for money: Takemichi gets dog-walked and Usopp is worth fifty grand (1:12:38). Bleach pauses before its last two episodes (1:19:04), Insomniac's Wolverine "yearns" for Sabretooth and Colton is out (1:23:28), Advent Children turns 21 (1:33:22), and the unluckiest-story lane gives us toe surgery, a shattered pinky toe before a photo shoot, and a drug raid on Colton's first Louisiana bus ride (1:35:05). Question of the Week: the ocean or outer space, which is scarier (1:46:43). Question of the Week: Which is scarier, the ocean or outer space? Tell us in the comments. Cory vs. the Elden Ring Fans. Time to Settle It | Do Not Listen Show

Caylon is back, Cory is cornered, and nobody in this room is qualified to settle anything. Listen at your own risk. Caylon is back for the first time in nine episodes, and EP12 goes exactly as chaotic as Colton promised. Housekeeping first: the show is on every audio platform and the site is live (1:07). Colton reviews Buddy and wants his $20 back for the pacing (8:20). Then the updated top-three anime lists come out and none of them agree: Cory rides FMA Brotherhood, Naruto and JJK, Caylon can't get below five, and Colton puts Naruto on his list on sales alone while saying he despises it, with Bleach at number one (17:36). From there it's theme songs, Sailor Moon soloing everybody, the old Toonami catalog, and the moment that got each of them into anime (33:39). Colton opens the Resident Evil reboot debate, a movie set in the universe with zero Resident Evil characters, and everybody lands on trust the vision (48:41). Then the stories: the Wendy's party pack incident, the Forehead Scar Club, and the hotel manager who said the rat video was AI (57:37). Keith Lee's wrong-way-driver post and the comments that turned on him get the sincere minutes (1:04:07). The best-entrance-in-anime argument settles on Ichigo grabbing Aizen by the face (1:23:23). Colton declares Spider-Man the worst superhero of all time (1:28:16). And the main event: Cory's Elden Ring takes set the internet on fire, so Caylon and Colton sit him down to settle it, and nobody wins (1:31:00). Assassin's Creed Is the Same Game 14 Times | Do Not Listen Show

This is the episode where Cory would rather take a bullet than play a Souls game. Listen at your own risk. Cory is back after Colton's solo episode and the first thing he does is step in gum. The show is now on Spotify, Apple, Amazon, and YouTube Music, the site is rebuilt, and a special guest is booked with $10 on the whiteboard from Cory saying he doesn't show (3:36). Colton pays $420 for the Final Fantasy VII Revelation collector's edition and reports the director's biggest fear is that Vincent Valentine is too fun to put down (16:25). The new Halloween game turns out to be Dead by Daylight with the safeguards removed (21:22). Mortal Shell 2 drops and Cory announces he would rather be shot than play a Souls-like (30:17), then extends the sentence to Assassin's Creed, which he says has been the same game since the beginning (36:34). Colton brings a local story: two Caddo Parish deputies swapped wives ten years ago, got fired, lost at the Louisiana Supreme Court, and just went viral again (43:05). Cory describes the average Souls player in detail Colton promises to clip out of context (48:23). Bleach got review-bombed over the Kubo changes and Re:Zero overtook it with no intro or outro (52:57). The back half is best anime entrances and exits: Madara, Maki, Toji, Escanor, Jiraiya, Neji, and Colton calling Rengoku vs. Akaza the best fight in one of the worst shows ever made (1:06:53). Sword Art Online fell off because it rushed the manga and got stuck in the fairy world twice (1:21:56). Question of the week: what's the best piece of advice you've ever been given? Bleach Is Fixing the Ending It Ruined | Do Not Listen Show

There was nobody in the room to stop this one. Proceed accordingly. Colton records EP10 alone. Cory is out, nothing is wrong, and the show keeps moving. Ten episodes in and the site is live with story submissions and a voicemail line. Then it gets personal — what it actually takes to restart your life, paying respects to Dolly Parton, Tim Curry, Peter Cullen and Yayoi Kusama in one brutal week, and why he cannot make himself say the word dead. He argues you cannot be a mid artist anymore, that half-effort is the only real failure. The lane change breaks down the Good Good x Callaway driver ad, how a brief built on obsession turned into a man shoving a woman to the ground, and why the marketing math never worked at any step. Future Game Forecast takes GTA 6 and the Netflix extended look. Anime Autopsy closes it with Bleach 44 through 46, the episode that made him cry, Chad getting no respect whatsoever, and a full-volume rant at review bombers who do not even watch the show. The Anime Villains Had A Point | Do Not Listen Show

We recorded this one sick, on no sleep, with no plan. Every take in here is going to age badly. Cory opens the show alone because Colton nearly didn't make it, then Colton turns up sick anyway. The website gets announced, guest applications are still a thousand dollars cash and a hard credit check, and last week's question eats the entire episode — Cory argues Geto had a workable premise and Colton points out the man proposed genocide. The Edgerunners season two teaser starts a fight, nobody asked for the One Piece remake, and Doctor Doom versus Thor is the only thing all year that made Colton care about Marvel again. Cory explains what years of waiting for the tones does to a person and why thank you for your service is the worst thing you can say to him. Do Not Look This Up hits flock cameras, an eighteen billion dollar data center the city voted against and got anyway, and a formal request for your urine to cool it. Three Reddit stories land, one of them the worst revenge either of them has read on air, and it ends with Colton catching Cory reading his own bit off the screen. Spiderman Is The Worst Superhero, Period | Do Not Listen Show

This is the one where the costume was the most normal thing that happened. Proceed accordingly. Cory turns up in a full Spider-Man bodysuit and refuses to take it off for eighty-nine minutes. Last week's question gets answered and it goes somewhere neither of them planned — Cory on grace and still grieving a friend seven years later, Colton on the night he turned 18 and cried on a hill in Flagstaff convinced he was already behind. Then Cory reviews Spider-Man Brand New Day and sells it so hard Colton almost folds. The full D23 rundown runs from Kingdom Hearts IV to an X-Men cast that spoiled itself months ago. Do Not Look This Up hits the Disney adult who spent ten years cornering Peter Pan actors and the Barksdale bubble that keeps the rain carving around Shreveport. The back half is phones — dating apps as a science experiment, Atomic Habits undone in seven months, and the phone as the toxic ex who says I'm back, you thought you got rid of me. Obsession Made Horror Feel Fresh Again | Do Not Listen Show

You were warned. Welcome, Listeners. Colton and Cory open on cult recruitment numbers and a plan to rent Alcatraz for the membership, then spend twenty minutes casting the movie of their own lives and cannot produce the name Harrison Ford between them. Cory reports what 2026 has taught him so far, which is eight hot dogs in a day and a new title. Spider-Man takes the all-time opening weekend record and Colton reads the numbers to settle it. A horror review lands a score, Alien Isolation 2 gets a stream commitment nobody asked for, and Do Not Look This Up finds a school that almost hired an AI teacher before checking what else the manufacturer builds. The back half is an hour on aura — real and anime — including the one question they would ask Kubo about the Visored and a gym idea that started in a barber's chair. My Husband Thinks He Is A Cat | Do Not Listen Show

Listen at your own risk. You already know that by now. Colton and Cory come back to a new set, a new lamp, and Cory formally opening cult recruitment with the island and deity already picked. Tom Cruise gets ruled unfit to save the world at five foot six, Nolan's Odyssey numbers come in absurd, and Cory confesses to outvoting a friend into Twilight over Skyfall fourteen years ago and texts him live to confirm he's still furious. The horror games debate lasts ninety seconds of cross-examination, the Zodiac case gets closed on Arthur Leigh Allen, and Colton corrects the Dustin Poirier record from last episode. Do Not Look This Up finds a woman whose husband has been running a popular cat roleplay account for three years, and Cory hands down the kennel ruling. Colton closes by venting that Neuromancer is the hardest book he has ever read. Got a story, a theory, or something we should never look up?
