Episode notes
TUNE IN to Vicki Solá's legacy, QUE VIVA LA MÚSICA -- this SATURDAY April 9th, 2022 at 1PM ET. We continue to appreciate all the efforts you have made to keeping this programming on the air with your donations. Now it's our turn to reciprocate with weekly shows to entertain and share with each of you, hoping it's to your liking.
Due to circumstances beyond our control and after almost 2 years of patience, we finally have the visit of our longtime family member Pequeño Johnny Rivero , legendary percussionist, composer, arranger and band leader. He presents "Golpe Duro", his most recent recording featuring Anthony Almonte and a poignant array of tunes directed to the dancers across the globe.
The family of Que Viva La Musica deeply mourn the passing of legendary great Pete Bonet , Puerto Rican singer with many of the most renowned bands in New York as well as being a successful promoter of nightclubs of grand fame such as El Corso. We will highlight many of his recordings throughout the program. Our deepest condolences to his family, friends, colleagues and admirers of his accomplishments.
