Hey family. What does community mean to you?

Growing up, I thought having people around who helped raise you, welcomed you into their homes, and looked out for your future was normal. Later, as a single mother, I experienced that same support while my best friend and I raised our children together.

Now that my community is spread out, I understand just how much that togetherness gave me.

In this episode, I’m sharing memories of my parents’ hospitality, Dad’s “Nibbleys,” and the family we build through friendship. We’re talking about trust, reciprocal care, and what it means to have people you can count on.
