Everybody wants to be a cat. But not these cats, specifically. Other, cooler cats, who do stuff.* *This opinion not necessarily endorsed by the podcast as a whole. Programming note: Tony was losing his voice and also his mic was acting up, so his audio isn't perfect quality. Our theme music is Homeward by Scott Buckley. Find us on the Internet! Hard to call this one “a romp,” but it might be fun, if you can get over the cat murder. And, uh, the onscreen cat sex. And the casual homophobia. Oh, and the original writer went full “concentration camp” later in life. Got some wacky dream sequences, though! Our theme music is Homeward by Scott Buckley. Find us on the Internet! Yes, that’s really the title. No, none of the writing in the movie is better than that title. No, none of the acting is, either. This movie might actually be a crime against good taste, dinosaurs in general, and James Gurney specifically. Our theme music is Homeward by Scott Buckley. Find us on the Internet! This might be the most tv-episode style movie we’ve seen since Buzz Lightyear of Star Command. Buzz didn’t bring all this romantic tension, though. Those mice are down to clown. We watch good movies and bad movies for this podcast, but so rarely do we watch a movie that’s straight-up depressing! But also kind of funny? It’s a strange film, I don’t know what to tell you. Heads up on this one: Tony accidentally recorded this on the wrong microphone, so his audio is a bit muffled. Still better than our early episodes, but not peak performance. Are you ready for the worst sequel movie we’ve ever seen? A movie where we legitimately wanted the main character to die? A movie that […]
Back to Bluth! Is that anything? It doesn’t feel like anything, but I’m writing stream-of-consciousness today, so I’m not changing it. What IS the secret of NIMH? Why is there a terrifying necromancer-coded owl? Will little Timmy survive!? Find out. Our theme music is Homeward by Scott Buckley. Find us on the Internet! Email is […]
