Christ's Heavenly Ministry and Ministerial Commitment
Episode notes
Christ's Heavenly Ministry and Ministerial Commitment
The sermon by Pastor (Dr) W. F. Kumuyi, emphasises that Christian service must strictly follow divine patterns rather than human traditions or personal abilities. It stresses that spiritual preparation, including personal salvation, sanctification, and empowerment by the Holy Ghost, is essential for anyone engaged in ministry. Furthermore, the message warns against hypocrisy, explaining that outward success, miracles, or large crowds do not replace the necessity of inner holiness and personal integrity. Ministers are urged to point people toward Jesus Christ so that He alone reigns in believers' hearts, rather than drawing attention to themselves. Ultimately, the message calls both believers and leaders to maintain an unwavering focus on heaven and to live a righteous life reflecting Christ until the end.
