The Crucifixion
Matthew 27:32-44
“They were come unto a place called Golgotha, that is to say, a place of a skull” Verse 33 The location of the crucifixion It was a rocky and hilly area outside of Jerusalem “Golgotha” means skull. The other name given the place was “Calvary”
(Luke 23:33) and “Calvary” is translated from the Greek word “kranion” from which we get our English word “cranium” which also has the “skull” meaning.
