In this episode, Hayley Mears chats to 2015 Australian of the year 2022 WA Local Hero Craig Hollywood, the founder of Short Back & Sidewalks (SBSW).
This dynamic not-for-profit organisation provides haircuts, free of charge and free of judgment to people experiencing homelessness and poverty. To date, they have delivered over 10,000 haircuts, 17,000 positive connections and over 420,000 hours of community-building time by over 150 volunteers. SBSW partner with experienced homelessness service providers to deliver our value-add services regularly in capital cities around Australia, with Perth being our largest operation.
