CUPE Talk In The Maritimes 1 YEAR Anniversary

CUPE Talk In The Maritimes celebrates one year on the air!

This special anniversary episode opens with our brand‑new intro and brings together voices from across the labour movement to mark the milestone.

We’re joined by CUPE Saskatchewan President Kent Peterson, followed by a powerful Presidents’ Roundtable featuring your CUPE Atlantic leaders:

• Iris Lloyd (CUPE NB)

• Ashley Clark (CUPE PEI)

• Alan Linkletter (CUPE NS)

• Sherry Hillier (CUPE NL)

CLC Senior Economist D.T. Cochrane breaks down the challenges workers are facing today and explains why strong, stable, good jobs are essential for our communities and our economy.

Chris and Nicholas reflect on the origins of CUPE Talk, the idea behind the show, and the mission that continues to guide it. The episode also includes a message from the Canadian Labour Congress to mark the occasion.

Thank you for a full year of solidarity, stories, and worker‑powered conversations. Onward.
