After leaving the military following heart failure, he suffered from Post Traumatic Stress Disorder but found Sailability as his solace. He is now the Chief Instructor at Lough Erne Yacht Club where he continues to inspire those around him, despite living on 24 hour oxygen with Pulmonary Fibrosis.
