This is part two of a two part series where Kyler attempts to point out the cosmetic differences between each year of the Volkswagen Beetle, so that those unfamiliar with Bugs can have an easier time guessing the different years. Part two covers the “late model” Beetles, which were sold in the United States from 1968 to 1980.

Correction Notes:

• Split-window Beetles and some oval Beetles came with only one tailpipe. The 1975 Beetle was not the “first” Beetle to feature a singular tailpipe.
