Forgiveness is far more challenging than what we realize. We might say the words “I forgive you” but is there still hurt left. Forgiveness is not options for believers. It is a requirement. Jesus made it plain and simple in Matthew 6:15 But if you do not forgive others their sins, your Father will not forgive your sins.

Our father in Heaven won’t forgive us if we don’t forgive. What!!! So we can’t hold on to grudges. If we do, it contradicts the scripture when God says “….Vengeance is mine “ in Romans 12:19.
