As with genealogies, Leviticus and its recording of rituals and rubrics can appear tedious and best left for those anointed to the task. Embedded within the ancient rites are the rites and rituals we hold sacred today that help us come back to God, to our worshipping community, to neighbors, friends, family, and self.
