RE-RELEASE - Booming Kicks and Big Dreams - From AFL in Melbourne to US College Football
Episode notes
With the NFL playoffs underway and the countdown to the Super Bowl heating up, we’re re-releasing one of our favourite gridiron journeys.
Meet Emile Sebafundi — a Melbourne native whose booming kick launched him from Aussie Rules ovals to American football stadiums. Through the renowned Prokick Australia program, Emile traded the southern hemisphere for a US college scholarship, earning his spot as a punter on one of America’s biggest stages.
In this episode, Emile takes us behind the scenes of his journey:
🏈 the culture shock of life in the US
🏈 the relentless grind of college football training
🏈 and the thrill (and pressure) of chasing a dream half a world away
If you’re locked into the playoffs or just love a good underdog story, this one’s a must-listen.
