(UN) RIGHTEOUS: Romans 1-3

This week at STUDENTS, Jake Axon begins our short study through Romans as we walk through Romans chapters 1-3 discussing the state of humanity and the need for righteousness from God through Jesus!

In our final week of this series, Hayden Kelley leads us through Isaiah 53 on how we as a sinful people needed a substitute for sin, death and Satan to be defeated once and for all. That substitute is known as Jesus Christ our Lord!

The Serpent and The Seed: Jesus vs Temptation

This week, Caleb Prozzi walked us through Matthew 4, where Jesus encounters Satan in the wilderness and fights against Satan's temptations. Jesus uses the Sword of the Spirit (Scripture) to thwart the enemy's attacks. **The Sword of the SPIRIT is the TRUTH of the Gospel**

The Serpent and The Seed: Joash vs. Athaliah

Jake Axon walking through 2 Kings 11 on the battle between Joash (seed figure) vs. Athaliah (serpent figure) and how the protection of Joash preserves the line that will lead to Jesus.

The Serpent and The Seed: David vs. Goliath

For week 4 of the Serpent and the Seed series, Caleb Prozzi walks us through 1 Samuel 17 on the battle between David and Goliath and how this battle is a foreshadowing of Jesus defeating sin, death and Satan on the Cross.

In week 3 of "The Serpent and The Seed," Jake Axon walks us through the Book of Joshua, mainly chapter 6 where Joshua and Israel's Army conquer Jericho.

The sermon is the first week of a 7-week series highlighting the ongoing battle that takes place throughout The Bible between the offspring of the Serpent and the offspring of the seed that comes from the woman (Eve). Jake Axon kicks off week one of this series by re-introducing the battle between the Serpent and the Seed that is promised in Genesis 3:15.
