Episode notes
You started semaglutide or tirzepatide and something changed at night — vivid dreams, waking at three with your heart going. You checked the leaflet and sleep isn't listed.
The strongest data is genuinely good news: tirzepatide cut apnea events by about twenty-five to twenty-nine an hour in the SURMOUNT-OSA trials, and became the first drug ever approved specifically for obstructive sleep apnea. The dreams-and-insomnia story is much weaker, and we're careful about saying so.
