Open Your Church Building

Maximising Your Physical Space

Your church building is a resource—use it strategically:

After-School Programs:

• ACTION STEP: Partner with local schools—offer your space as a satellite homework club

Holiday Programs:

• School holidays are high-risk periods when youth services aren't available

• Run week-long programs with activities, meals, and positive engagement

• Include trips, sports, arts, and life skills workshops

• ACTION STEP: Plan next school holiday program now—recruit volunteers, secure funding, promote in local schools
