“Since the spiritual life is produced by the Holy Spirit for people with bodies, Christian spirituality is embodied piety.” Thus says Dr. John Kleinig in the Introduction (“Body Matters”) of his book, Wonderfully Made: A Protestant Theology of the Body. This is Part 2 of our ongoing conversation about Dr. Kleinig’s book. If you didn’t listen to Part 1, you’ll do well to start there. This overall topic, which is called "the theology of the body," is the topic of our time, for it is a discussion about what it means to be a human being.
