Faith is powerful, but it doesn’t always show up whenever we want it to. Genuine faith emerges over time. We can speed it up by cultivating it.

Developing faith in yourself is to see a task that you have never done before and know very little about as a marathon, not a short sprint. If you give all you have right from the beginning of a marathon, you’ll never complete the marathon. To run a successful marathon, one needs to start with a calculated amount of effort, not 100%.
