Tréchelle is the founder of the Reconciliation Run, an annual marathon that begins at a former residential school and ends in Bird Tail Sioux First Nation. She is a former USport hockey player, having played with the University of Manitoba Bisons women’s hockey team during her undergraduate degree. Tréchelle is the Chief of Bird Tail Sioux First Nation, making her the youngest serving chief in Manitoba. She is currently pursuing a law degree at the University of Manitoba and serves on Hockey Canada’s Indigenous Advisory Circle.
