Charlton Adjusted v Cardiff City

The trip to Wales was not a happy one. The recently promoted Cardiff City made short work of the Addicks. Fair play to them. Tyreece Campbell scored again, Arthur Okonkwo saved CA from a 9-1 defeat and Josh Edwards made a return (brief though it was). The International break has come at a good time. Time to regroup and "go again" 8 matches, 12 points ........ on track to avoid relegation ........... much to the chagrin of Bet 24/7. Go the Valley Party Go the Addicks. Always remember ................ Its Charlton Adjusted versus the Rest of the World.

CA v QPR & Portsmouth

The Championship League is in full swing with two matches in the week. QPR & Portsmouth. Two nil all draws. But will be remembered in history for the Nathan Jones quote of the year contender ........ where he said ........ "the ref looked at me as though I had volleyed his cat !!!!" Against QPR, Tyreece Campbell scored. It's not recorded in history as a goal ...... but it was. There is the rational, balanced, right thinking persons debate on the application of the "off side rule". And similarly so with the illogical concept of ......." the rub of the green" The Portsmouth match demonstrated the Diana Ross like skills of Millenic Alli, who against all odds ....... managed to kick the ball vertically from one yard out ..... and miss the goal. As always remember ...... it's Charlton Adjusted v the Rest of the World.

Charlton Adjusted v West Bromwich Albion & Stoke City

A road trip to the West Midlands. West Bromwich Albion then Stoke City. An honourable draw followed by a crushing defeat. A blip or a car crash. Next week's matches against QPR and Portsmouth will tell us. But remember ....... 10 points from 5 matches is welcome news to The Addicks. We remain upbeat & confident. Bet 24/7 and pundits are wrong. Charlton Will avoid relegation. Go the Valley Party Go The Addicks Remember ...... it's Charlton Adjusted v the Rest of the World

Charlton Adjusted v Preston North End

Who sits top of the standings after three rounds? Who is the only undefeated team in the Championship League to date? ...... dear A1 ...... based on current performances ....... do you still think Charlton Adjusted will finish 23rd? Bet 24/7 ...... will you now pay out to anyone who said Charlton would avoid relegation? Charlton defeats Preston North End 1-0. Go the Valley Party Go the Addicks Remember .... it's Charlton Adjusted v the Rest of the World

Charlton Adjusted v West Ham (Round two)

Bet 24/7 had West Hams probability of beating Charlton Adjusted set at 70%. The experts (the same who picked Charlton for relegation) thought that was generous. The fact that Charlton had won first up, had recruited well and had a manager suited for the contest - apparently mattered little. So what would be the outcome for the most under appreciated, under estimated, under the radar team from South East London on their trip to the London Stadium ?????? Go the Valley Party Go the Addicks Remember ..... it's Charlton Adjusted v the Rest of the World.

Charlton Adjusted 2026/27 Preseason episode

The 2026 /27 Charlton Adjusted preseason has now concluded. Nathan Jones says ..... somewhat disjointed. The fans say ..... somewhat successful. New signings like Mesik, Grant, Koumetio, Alli & McNamara add to the squad. Scratching beneath the surface reveals the result against Reading was in fact a surprisingly strong outcome. Much confidence to be gained. The new season is almost upon us. A Carabao Cup match to come against Cheltenham Town which should give a good indication of the progress of the team. It's exciting to be an Addick .............. the year Charlton Adjusted takes on the rest of the World and establishes its rightful place in the Championship League. Go the Valley Party, Go Addicks ....... Its Charlton Adjusted v The Rest of the World.
