Happy New Year! These crisps flew across the pond for episode #39! These 5-6 month expired crisps traveled from Ireland with Jenn Jenn long ago and they made their way to the top of the pile in our chip closet. Mama Barrett says she's going to audit the chip closet soon. We didn't exactly enjoy these and wouldn't buy them again but, as always, we enjoyed recording the show. Thanks for listening! We've got a Switcharoo on our hands! Brodie's time was limited, so he just did the intro but he did taste them and gave them a higher taste rating than the adults did. Thank you to Holly for the bag...its not her fault we let them expire. Mama Barrett and Dad talk way too much in this one but it's ok! We're having fun! Christmas is right around the corner. Man! Dad messed this one up! We had a really good episode and somehow it was all deleted. So we recapped the review after the actual review so we didn't have to redo the entire show this week. What fun! Brodie's friend from school, Kaleb, joined us in studio to enjoy some special Thanksgiving chips from Trader Joe's. They really tasted like stuffing! The boys had a great time munching on these chips provided by Jenn Jenn. We listened to some music from Kaleb's favorite band, then the corn song, and even watched a little clip of Brodie on Kyler's YouTube channel, mynameiskyler. Another bag of expired chips! Mama Barrett bought these Guinness Rich Chili chips back in February around the time we started the show. We're not sure if the funky flavor was due to expiration or if these were just strange chips. Brodie and Dad weren't big fans, but everyone else enjoyed them. Thank you to Mama Barrett's best friend, Holly, for providing us with these amazing chips! They really tasted like a hot dog with mustard, relish, and onions! We absolutely loved them. Did they expire a month ago? Sure. Did we still love them? Of course! Will we continue eating expired chips every time they enter the studio? Um, yes. Thank you for donating these cassava chips, Dr. Anandan! These chips were thick, durable, and simple. This was our first time trying yuca cassava chips and we loved them! It's been a long month in the Barrett home and we're ready for Halloween! We didn't mention it in the episode, but Brodie's soccer team improved to 5-1 on the season. Great job, Team Fox! The boys are back in the newly renovated, beautifully decorated podcast studio! Thanks to Zach for a brand new studio desk and Mama Barrett for a couple of new chairs! We also have brought down Brodie's drum kit and plan to use this space for music making soon. This episode was special because Mama Barrett joined us the whole time. Zach and Jenn Jenn brought back some Pringles from Italy for us to try. The Ketchup flavor was not loved by all, but Louis has enjoyed the can for himself. The others were great!
