Season 3

Jesus is Everything!

On this podcast we review a sermon from Philippians 3:1-3 titled "Real Christians" by Pastor Tobin. Real Christians have a heart change not a part change. They worship by the Spirit of God, boast in Jesus Christ and put no confidence in the flesh. On our "What's Up with Worship" segment Matt Dyer gives us the back story and several Scripture references to one of our favorite songs, "Great Are You Lord" Tobin does a phone interview with FCA's Northeast Regional Director, and one of the missionaries we support, Margaux Poplaski. She shares about all the ministry that took place this past summer and gives us some specific prayer requests for her family and for FCA. More information on FCA and on Margaux's role within FCA can be found at fcamaine.org and northeastfca.org

How to get more out of God's Word

Welcome to Season Three where we start digging into Sunday sermons, sharing inspirational worship songs and have fun with special guests. On episode 1 we introduce you to blueletterbible.org, a free online Bible study help that you can use to dig deeper and get more out of your Bible reading. We also introduce you to a new podcast segment we like to call "What's Up With Worship?" This week we discuss the song "You Said I AM" and why we feel it's an important song for our church to be singing, right now.

Season 2

Season Finale: Methods Change, The Message Doesn't

This is our Season 2 finale where we discuss the different methods that have been used and that are currently being used to share the never changing message of the Good News of Jesus Christ. We also celebrate a podcast milestone.

The Dog Days of Summer: Grumbling, Complaining, and Q&A

In this episode Pastor Tobin shares some insight regarding the warnings found in the Bible against grumbling, complaining and gossip. We also fire off some random questions around what it means to be non-denominational vs. denominational and where does your tithes and offerings go? Enjoy and stay cool my friends.

From Broken To Blessed: The Travis Harwood Testimony

In episode 7 we sit down with 777HVAC owner Travis Harwood. He shares his testimony of how God transformed his life and his lively hood and how listening to the Holy Spirit and obeying the Lord leads to blessings money can't buy. You will be challenged, encouraged and blessed as you listen.

Get Connected Locally

The internet has given us abundant access to great preachers and communicators of God's Word but it doesn't replace the need for Christians to be physically connected to a local church body. It's in the context of a church community that we grow spiritually, that we get to practice the "One Another's" in Scripture (Love one another, serve one another, forgive one another, carry one another's burdens). In this episode we discuss the importance of being an active member of your local church and the blessings that come with it.

Building A Business While Advancing The Kingdom Of God

In this episode we sit down with Curtis Miller, entrepreneur and owner of Miller Fitness. We discuss the importance of setting a Christian example in life and in business, stepping out in faith and learning to hear the voice of God over the distracting chatter of the world.

Elders, Deacons, & Christians in Business

On this episode we sit around the table and discuss the role of Elders and Deacons at CCF and then begin the first of several discussions regarding our Christian witness in the areas of business, politics, and small town life.

Defending The Faith

On this episode we sit down with Daniel Clausen to discuss Christian apologetics and why knowing how to defend your faith is so important in the culture we live in. 1 Peter 3:15 instructs all Christians to ‘always be prepared to give an answer to everyone who asks you to give the reason for the hope that you have.' Apologetics helps others develop an intellectual and reasonable examination of the Christian message. The goal of apologetics is to strengthen the faith of Christians and to attract others to the gospel. Dan will be leading our "Defending The Faith" study this summer, starting on Thursday, June 20th at 6pm.

Creative Christians In The Church

Our CCF Podcast Team sits down with producer, director and now self-published author Megan Caudill to discuss the role of arts and entertainment in the church. Megan uses the gifts and talents that God has given her to teach Biblical principles and introduce people, who may never step inside a church, to the truth of the gospel. If God has given you a creative passion and gifted you with artistic abilities we hope this episode will encourage you to use them for the Glory of God.
