Zyon, a kid driven by combat, was led into the wrestling room by mentors who saw something in him. At first, he wanted to quit. Instead, he stayed — and fell in love with the sport. While his long-term dream has always been to fight, Zyon committed to mastering wrestling first, setting his sights on becoming a Division I All-American. What once seemed far-fetched became reality when UVU believed in him.

Zyon began his athletic journey in jiu-jitsu before shifting his focus fully to wrestling. That background paid off immediately, helping him find success early. Since then, Zyon has captured three state titles and earned his spot as a Division I wrestler.
