A coming of age story where a new driver (Tommy, 19) is forced to grow up very quickly following his exposure to the colourful characters who work for a small city mini-cab office in the 1980’s Synopsis Tommy’s journey runs through the series but Each episode centres around a different character from the cab firm and how their story affects him. The owner, the telephone controller and several drivers have their own story highlighted, but there is interaction with the whole ensemble usually in or around the office.
