by Rukari Austin & Jeff Easterling
Just how in the world did Rukari and Jeff first meet? Yes, it was Halo, but what specifically propelled us down the path we find ourselves currently riding? That's what this week's episode is all about!
Careers are in full swing, but someone, somewhere, had the bright idea to let either Jeff or Rukari lend their talents to on-air broadcasts. Just how that all came about is a long convoluted story, but they tried to condense it into this episode...poorly.
In this episode, Jeff and Rukari explore the interesting paths their careers at Microsoft took to end up where we are today. What started as a job description and an offer letter turned into so much more than they ever thought could be possible.
Jeff and Rukari are two gaming industry veterans who still feel like their journey into their careers is far from over. In this episode they discuss the steps it took to go from a fan of the Halo franchise to working at Microsoft and having to leave their roots behind in order to transition into a full-fledged career.
