Welcome back to Cass County's Healthcast. In today's Cast, we're going to be discussing the Illinois Breast and Cervical Cancer Program, also known as IBCCP. January is Cervical Cancer Awareness Month. Cervical cancer and breast cancer the most common cancers among women, and if they're diagnosed early enough, they're treatable. Regular mammograms, breast exams and PAP tests can help prevent abnormal changes turning into cancer. Here to help us learn more about IBCCP is Jessie Franklin, a community Navigator with the Sangamon County Department of Public Health.
