Season 3 Episode 22: Zach Fogell; Boston Red Sox Pitcher

Zach Fogell, a Cumberland Rhode Island native, dreamed about playing for the Red Sox ever since he was in Little League.

Fogell stayed locally for college and played in the Ivy League at Brown University. After getting two years cut from his college career due to covid and other complications, Fogell would transfer to one of his dream schools in UConn for his 5th year of eligibility where he would break out and have the best season of his collegiate career.

He describes in this week’s episode what it was like to hear his name called on draft night for the Boston Red Sox, and his process along the way.
