This week Jane tells us about a well known family from South Carolina. For over a century and across multiple generations, the family had significant influence in the legal system. The family was so well known that the region was called Murdaugh Country. On a fateful day in June 2021 two of the family members were murdered by one of the other family members.Deklan tells us about a Russian hiking expedition that started off well but ended tragically. Nine hikers went to the Ural Mountains in February 1959 but none would return. Their camp was discovered when the group never returned but the entire place was in disarray.
