Coach Oreyana Curry joined us to talk about how her journey in basketball has led her into the professions of teaching and coaching. Coach Curry mentioned mentors like her high school principal, Dr. John Tafelski, as well as her parents Shawn and Kevin Clayton. Together, they built foundational expectations for Coach Curry that she now shares with the young men she is coaching, and the young people in her high school mathematics classroom.
