Week 4 of Cosmetheology Instead of Cosmetology. This week Pastor Shannon O'Dell is in Luke 7, where a woman with a reputation walks into a Pharisee's house, breaks open an alabaster jar, and wipes Jesus' feet with her hair.

The message works through what she did and what Simon didn't. Praise is where Jesus shows up. Her past became her worship. And you get two options in the story: question it from a safe distance, or quit your old life and pour it out.

It lands on the part most of us skip. Jesus already told us what he likes in worship, so stop projecting your version onto him and go read the receipts.
