This week we decided to honour some listener requests. We know you've been busy boofing. This week we boof your favourite movies.

Firstly we are turning our attention to the high-wire tension of the British prison system, as seen through the eyes (and iPhone) of Cal McMau in last year’s Wasteman (2025). A film which was initially supposed to be a Safdie Brothers’ picture, it foregrounds the performative and pornographic masculinity of life inside. It also features scenes of Tom Blyth blithely pissing, something which Seán has become all too familiar with.

Next, we will be drawing parallels to another anxiety-attack drama from recent memory, this time in focusing on the hardships of moving through a broken asylum system. The stylistic similarities of Souleyman’s Story (Boris Lojkine, 2024) will be analyzed in depth, as  ...
