Put on Your Best Clothes

Earlier this year a pair of shoes sold for $2.2 million. They were the very shoes Michael Jordan wore during the 1998 finals against the Utah Jazz. People are willing to spend a lot of money on clothing and shoes these days. In Colossians Ch.3 Paul gives us a list of the best clothing options, better than anything else—the attributes of Christ. When we put these on, we’re blessed, the people around us are blessed, and Christ is exalted. The good news for us is they’re free, bought and paid for by the blood of Christ. Paul gives us a list in vs12-17 that every Christian should strive for. Christ’s mind, Christ’s heart, Christ’s attributes should be our desire. Put these on, and the peace of Christ will rule in your heart.
