Welcome to The Black Tower School of Applied Violence!
The White Tower spent centuries developing traditions, rules, and careful methods for teaching channelers. The Black Tower took a slightly different approach: use saidin constantly, learn fast, and blow things up until you get better at it.
Tonight, we're diving into how the Asha'man were actually trained. From Rand's original vision and Mazrim Taim's methods to destructive weaves, sword training, rank advancement, and the philosophy behind turning men who could channel into weapons for the Last Battle.
How effective was Black Tower training? Was its brutal pace necessary, reckless, or both? How did it compare to the way Aes Sedai were trained? And just how much of what the Asha'man became can be traced back to Taim?
Grab your black coat, seize saidin, and try not to blow yourself up as we enroll in The Black Tower School of Applied Violence!
