I'll get better making the Shorts short!) - We begin with Kathi Merchant, Co-Director of the 2019 Iditarod Trail Invitational as she dives into a bit of the history of the race, the trail as well as some of the competitors (from Iowa... it was for a news piece in Des Moines). It's all pure Bering Sea gold! Secondly, we talk with Flori Reiterberger on the couch of the host home of the 350-mile checkpoint in McGrath, Alaska. It's a glimpse into what brings someone from the other side of the world to the middle of remote Alaska in the winter. It's also Bering Sea gold!
