LIVE from Detroit's Full Measure Brewing!

This bonus episode was recorded live on May 3, 2026 at Full Measure Brewing Co. in Detroit's Eastern Market neighborhood. It was the release of their women's collaboration beer, Lady Obsidian Black IPA; the final farewell to Fermenta, a women's professional organization based in Michigan supporting those in the fermentation industry; and of course, the kickoff of our podcast!

To celebrate our new baby podcast, we interviewed some of our friends to get their thoughts on perimenopause, and fair warning, they were very open and honest! You will hear some coarse language and personal stories from these ladies on what their experience has been like. We also spent the day partaking in beer, so as the interviews went on, well, we became more tipsy.

Also a note, that if you are listening and not watching, there was a point during Emily's interview when we had the lights turned off on us!
