The penultimate episode, and the fans are furious. Bob and Matt wade into 'Dead Man's Hand,' the controversial X-Men '97 lead-in to the finale that many found rushed — especially its handling of Gambit, resurrected by Apocalypse and gone too soon. They sort the fair complaints from the noise, enjoy Cable getting betrayed by Jubilee, and pay the Thieves Guild its tithe (as does this podcast, for the low price of $1 on Patreon). Matt watched it twice; the finale made it better.
