Beyond her successful modeling career, Johnson has been a dedicated advocate for various causes, notably Down syndrome. Her niece and a first cousin have Down syndrome, which has fueled her passion for supporting organizations like the Global Down Syndrome Foundation. She expresses deep appreciation for Dr. Applewhite's work helping her fellow veterans and other underserved persons with visible and non-visible disabilities change their "perception", from disabled to differently-abled, for success in the workforce and higher education.
