Be aware of when you are experiencing a spike in dopamine. Avoid spikes in dopamine immediately before or immediately after any given task. Purposefully cultivate a spike in dopamine while performing a task by stating the affirmation as follows: "I am doing this by choice and I am doing this because I love it."
