Earlyn Whitehead: Tap, Rhythm, and Soul

In this episode, Marisa interviews dancer, teacher, and choreographer Earlyn Whitehead. They chat about her piece “Woven Recognitions,” which explores the convergence of tap with modern contemporary movement. She talks about her choreographic process and performance opportunities with Same Planet Performance Project and Kelly Anderson Dance Theatre. Earlyn also shares her experience with dance burnout and how her recent break from it reignited her love for teaching.
