Thunderstorms are already firing up across central and southern Arkansas. Little Rock, you're in the thick of it from 7 A.M. To 4 P.M., with the heaviest action around 10 A.M. We're talking large hail and damaging winds possible. Northeast Arkansas, your turn comes between 10 A.M. and 4 P.M., peaking around 2 P.M. Northwest Arkansas? You catch a break — just a brief rain chance at 7 A.M., then mostly sunny skies. Highs today hit the mid-70s statewide. Little Rock and Fayetteville both reach 76. Jonesboro tops out at 74.
