The New York Knicks defeated the San Antonio Spurs 124–113 to win the 2025 NBA Cup. With this being the third year of the NBA Cup it was an entertaining game since the tip-off. San Antonio Spurs shot poorly in the 4th quarter which couldn’t keep up with Knicks’ scoring. Second-Chance points due to offensive rebounds the Knicks outscored the Spurs 35–19 in the 4th quarter to take control down the stretch which provided the Knicks the first NBA Cup Title with Jalen Brunson taking home the NBA Cup MVP.
