She is also the Co-Founder and President of the Pig Placement Network (PPN). Since 1998 PPN has been an adoption service, consultant, educator, support to the rescue community, and much more, all for the rehoming of domesticated pigs.

Susan is a pet-pig-breeder turned rescue advocate. She says, “the rescue world is overwhelmed with unwanted companion pigs. Sanctuaries and Rescues get numerous calls from caretakers wanting to surrender their pig. They are at their capacity, they can't take in more without putting their organization into jeopardy.
