Day 4: Letting It Do Me, Ditching the Crutch and Finding Your Sits Bones

Will gets mentioned for the first time in this episode. As I sip lemon water, my intentions for this podcast are revealed. I want the focus on raw truth, on life unfolding naturally. I discuss ways the name TRUTHpunk can relate to neurodivergence. After I admit the books from previous episodes were a crutch, I divulge how Zumba was a crutch. I share how I found my confidence and went from Zumba to Dance with Amanda. This episode ends with a mini meditation, but first I ask you to come hang out with me each morning… here… on TRUTHpunk PODCAST. It’s time to breathe in something better… together… ❤️Amanda TRUTHpunkPODCAST.com

Day 3: Understanding Copyrights and Allowing the Truth to Change Our Lives

I’m outside with the birds and changing the name of the podcast to TRUTHpunk. Because I’ve been reading from books written by my paper teachers, the subject of copyrights comes up. This leads to a discussion about music copyrights related to my dance classes. I talk about living the truth and uncovering more… feeling better. I talk about telling the truth and allowing it to change your life. I talk about embracing endings, as they are new beginnings. My best friend, me - is introduced in this episode, and we ask to be friends with you and yours. Before I go back into the house, the birds and their songs remind us all that it is safe to broadcast our signals… to be ourselves. ❤️Amanda TRUTHpunkPODCAST.com

Day 2. Dark Nights of the Soul, Prayer and Paper Teachers

I’m outside with the birds from the very start of this episode. I choose another book at random and read from Caroline Myss’s Anatomy of the Spirit. She writes about enduring dark nights of the soul and seeing the light at the end of them; this light illuminates the way forward. Death, grieving and transformation come up in this episode. Caroline says we need faith, prayer and spiritual guides who know the nature of the journey. I talk about my struggles with God, church and prayer. I praise my paper teachers, like Myss, who taught me to find and plug energy drains… to uncover and heal my issues. Before I go in for my lemon water, I focus on conjuring feelings of freedom, feelings of ease, and feelings of excitement for what’s coming next. ❤️Amanda TRUTHpunkPODCAST.com

Day 1: Health Challenges, Healing, and Dreams

This is the very first recording I made with podcasting in mind. Since it’s the first episode, I don’t know what to talk about. I pull a random book from the shelf, open to a random page and recite what’s on it. After reading about Wayne Dyer’s post-leukemia journey back to yoga in his book Wishes Fulfilled, I speak about my journey back to dance. I talk about health challenges, going inward for answers, not fitting-in and doing what feels best in each moment. I talk about recovering from a job I left after numbing out for a year. I talk about giving ourselves time to heal and knocking on the doors to our dreams. Thanks so much for listening… I’ll talk to you tomorrow… Hands over hearts… ❤️Amanda TRUTHpunkPODCAST.com
