Todays episode will be hosted by Jules. This episode will discuss the stigma and oppression Transgender athletes face in the world of sports. Transgender athletes especially at the collegiate level have been facing scrutiny due to them competing and having “biological and hormonal differences.”
Todays episode will be hosted by Abby, and will discuss gendered bathrooms in schools, public places, and businesses, as well as the lack of awareness for transgender individuals and nonbinary individuals. The binary system our society lives in creates multiple scenarios where people who do not fit into the binary system, create feelings of being oppressed, alone, judged, and left out.
Todays episode will be hosted by Lzsiayra. It will discuss workplace discrimination and how it affects women every day. The goal of this episode is to inform others about the discrimination that women experience in jobs and advocate for change.
My name is Molly Robinson, I am a first year at Transylvania University. This podcast episode is part of a project for my psychology class. I am working with 3 other members, and we are all discussing different topics we feel are important to us. In this episode, I will be discussing what the Pink Tax is and how it affects women and members of the LGBTQ+ community. This project is a means to educate and inform the community about issues that have continually afflicted women and the LGBTQ+ community.
