Episode notes
Welcome back to Adventures in 2000 AD Megacast! Issue 218 is the start of some new adventures. We're continuing our journey through the 2004 Judge Dredd Megazines. This time we're diving into Judge Dredd Megazine 218, originally released in May 2004, and this issue is rather hit and miss sadly. In this episode I'll be looking at the stories, characters, artwork and wonderfully strange ideas packed into the Megazine. As always, this isn't a traditional review. It's my personal reading journey through the world of 2000 AD as I rediscover these stories and see how they hold up years after their original release. I'll be sharing what worked for me, what didn't, the characters that stood out and the moments that made me want to keep reading. And we're only getting started with 2004! Are you reading along with me? Let me know in the comments: - Did you read Megazine 218 when it was originally released? - What did you think of the Helltrekker? - What's your favourite story in this meg? - And what should I be looking out for as we continue through 2004? If you're enjoying the series, Like, Comment and Subscribe. It really helps the channel and lets me know that people are enjoying this ridiculous journey through the Megazines. Thanks for joining me on another trip into the world of 2000 AD and Judge Dredd. Cheers!
