**December 12** Joel 1:1–3:21 - Joel 1–2:17: Locust plague = Day of the LORD; repent urgently. - Joel 2:18–3:21: God restores, pours Spirit, judges nations; all who call on the LORD saved. Psalm 140:6–13 - God is my shield; He hears my cry. - Lord vindicates the poor; righteous give thanks. Proverbs 29:24 - Thief’s partner hates own life; silence under oath brings curse. Revelation 2:1–29 - Jesus knows each church: praise, rebuke, warnings, promises. - To overcomers: hidden manna, authority, morning star; “hear what the Spirit says.”

**DECEMBER 13**

**DECEMBER 13** Amos 1:1–3:15 - God judges eight nations, especially Israel, for cruelty and idolatry. - Coming fire and exile; none escape. Psalm 141:1–4 - David begs God to hear and guard his speech and heart. - Keep me from evil words and wicked company. Proverbs 29:25 - Fear of man is a snare. - Trust in the Lord brings safety. Revelation 3:1–22 - Sardis: Reputed alive but dead—wake up or I come like a thief. - Laodicea: Lukewarm and self-satisfied—I will spit you out; repent and open the door.

**DECEMBER 14**

DECEMBER 14 Amos 4:1–5:27 - God condemns Israel’s wealthy women and empty rituals; plagues sent, yet they did not return. - Seek the Lord and live, or fire will devour; hate evil, love good, establish justice. Psalm 141:5–10 - Let the righteous strike me; it is kindness; keep me from the snares of evildoers. - Wicked fall into their own nets while I pass by safely. Proverbs 29:26 - Many seek the ruler’s favor. - True justice comes from the Lord alone. Revelation 4:1–11 - John sees an open door in heaven and the dazzling throne of God surrounded by 24 elders and four living creatures. - Holy, holy, holy is the Lord God Almighty; all creation worships Him who lives forever.

**DECEMBER 15**

DECEMBER 15 Amos 6:1–7:17 - Woe to complacent rich; exile is coming. - Amos defends his call; visions of judgment pronounced. Psalm 142:1–7 - David cries from the cave, utterly alone. - God is his only refuge and deliverer. Proverbs 29:27 - The righteous detest the wicked. - The wicked detest the righteous. Revelation 5:1–14 - Only the Lamb who was slain alone is worthy to open the scroll. - Heaven and earth worship the Lamb forever.

**DECEMBER 16**

DECEMBER 16 - Amos 8:1–9:15 - Ripe fruit vision: Israel’s end near; famine of God’s word - Judgment fierce, yet final restoration: David’s kingdom rebuilt forever - Psalm 143:1–6 - David begs mercy; spirit faints, heart desolate - Thirsts for God like dry land; hands stretched out - Proverbs 30:1–4 - Agur: “I’m brutish, no understanding” - Who but God ascended/descended, holds wind, bounds waters, set earth? - Revelation 6:1–17 - Four horsemen: conquest, war, famine, death; martyrs cry - Sixth seal: cosmos shakes; all hide from wrath of Lamb

**DECEMBER 17**

DECEMBER 17 Obadiah 1–21 - God judges arrogant Edom for betraying Israel. - Israel restored; kingdom belongs to the Lord. Psalm 143:7–12 - David pleads: Answer quickly, teach me, deliver me. - Destroy enemies for Your name’s sake. Proverbs 30:5 - Every word of God is flawless. - He shields all who take refuge in Him. Revelation 7:1–17 - 144,000 from Israel sealed for protection. - Countless multitude in white robes worship; Lamb shepherds them forever.

**DECEMBER 18**

DECEMBER 18 Jonah 1–4 - Jonah flees; storm, fish, repentance, Nineveh spared. - Jonah angry at God’s mercy; God teaches compassion. Psalm 144:1–8 - Blessed is the Lord, my rock and trainer for war. - Rescue me from deep waters and foreign liars. Proverbs 30:6–9 - Never add to God’s words or be rebuked. - Give me neither poverty nor riches; keep me from denying or dishonoring You. Revelation 8:1–13 - Silence in heaven; seven angels receive trumpets. - First four trumpets: earth, sea, rivers, heavens struck; eagle cries “Woe!” for the last three.

**DECEMBER 19**

DECEMBER 19 Micah 1:1–3:12 - Micah announces judgment: Samaria ruined, Jerusalem plowed for idolatry and injustice. - Corrupt leaders and prophets condemned; Zion destroyed for sin. Psalm 144:9–15 - David’s new song: God is rock, deliverer, and protector. - Blessed are people whose God is the Lord—happy, secure, prosperous. Proverbs 30:10 - Never slander a servant to his master, or you’ll be cursed and guilty. Revelation 9:1–21 - Fifth trumpet: demonic locusts torment unbelievers five months. - Sixth trumpet: army kills one-third of humanity; survivors still unrepentant.

**DECEMBER 20**

DECEMBER 20 Micah 4:1–5:15 - Future glory: nations stream to Zion; God reigns in peace, swords become plowshares. - Yet now, exile comes; later, God will gather remnant, rule from Zion, destroy enemies. Psalm 145:1–9 - David exalts God’s greatness forever; His mighty acts praised generation to generation. - Lord is gracious, compassionate, slow to anger, abounding in love to all. Proverbs 30:11–14 - Four wicked generations: curse parents, claim purity while filthy, proud, oppress poor. Revelation 10:1–11 - Mighty angel with little scroll stands on sea and land; seven thunders sealed. - John eats scroll: sweet in mouth, sour in stomach; must prophesy again to many nations.

**DECEMBER 21**

DECEMBER 21 Micah 6:1–7:20 - God pleads with Israel: demands justice, mercy, humility—not empty sacrifices. - Though unfaithful, God will forgive, shepherd His people, and crush enemies. Psalm 145:10–16 - All creation praises God; He is faithful, upholds the falling, feeds every living thing. - Lord is righteous, near to all who call, opens His hand to satisfy desires. Proverbs 30:15 - The leech has two daughters crying “Give! Give!”; three things never satisfied, four that say “Not enough!” Revelation 11:1–19 - Two witnesses prophesy 1,260 days, killed, resurrected; temple measured, kingdom proclaimed. - Seventh trumpet: loud voices declare Christ reigns; elders worship as judgments come.
