Hosea 1:1 - 4:19

- God tells Hosea to marry Gomer, and their children's names picture Israel's unfaithfulness, yet God promises that those called "Not My People" will be called children of the living God.

- Hosea buys back his unfaithful wife as a sign that God will betroth Israel to Himself in faithfulness, but for now His people are destroyed for lack of knowledge.

Romans 14:1 - 14:23

- Welcome the one who is weak in faith and do not judge each other over food or days, for each of us will give an account of himself to God.

- Never put a stumbling block in a brother's way, because the kingdom of God is righteousness, peace, and joy in the Holy Spirit, and whatever does not come from faith is sin.
